Alcona County Day Center (ACDC)
Alcona County Commission on Aging’s Day Center (A.C.D.C.) is an adult day service for anyone 18 years of age or older and unable to be left at home safely. The mission of the Alcona County Day Center is to provide social, recreational and stimulating activities to help maintain the level of functioning, self-worth and dignity of our guests while offering respite to their caregiver. Prior to attending the Day Center, all guests must be assessed by our staff to make sure certain criteria is met. There is a fee for this service, however the fees are based on a cost sharing schedule and poverty guidelines.

Prior to attending the Day Center, all clients must be assessed by our staff to make sure they meet certain criteria.
Individuals must be able to walk with no or very limited help.
Individuals must be able to use the restroom independently.
For all individuals 18 years of age or older.

To provide social and recreational activities in a safe and supportive environment
To provide support and respite to the family caregiver

Monday-Friday: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
