Food Bank of lincoln

As an essential business, the Food Bank continues to operate during the “shelter in place” order to ensure families in need have access to nourishing food during the COVID-19 pandemic. With fewer food donations from retailers and a drastic increase in families turning to the Food Bank for help, our resources are stretched to the limit.  How can you help?

Make a Monetary Donation

The best way to help our neighbors in need is by making a monetary donation. This gives us the flexibility to purchase exactly what we need for this situation. Thanks to our purchasing power, we can stretch a $1 donation to provide four meals for families in need. Make a donation below.

Make a Grocery Donation

Here is a list of shelf-stable items acceptable for donations. Please make sure all donations are in a grocery bag or a clean cardboard box.

Volunteer Opportunities                                                         Click Here To Volunteer

We have primarily weekday and select weekend opportunities—perfect for individuals and groups—helping prepare food donations for distribution and distributing food at mobile food pantries.

If you would like to help from home, please consider the option of doing a virtual food drive (VFD) to help raise money online. Funds raised through a VFD are flexible – the Food Bank can put your dollars toward the area of greatest need, which helps us prepare for and respond to evolving situations like COVID-19.
